Vase

Vase, one of a pair (to LL 6525), with slender ovoid body, contracted neck, and spreading mouth. Brilliant powder-blue ground with panels painted in dark and light blue and underglaze red. Two oblong panels with swirling waves and a rock, on which is standing a sea monster, with clouds above. Between them, two fan-shaped panels with fisherman in landscape, rock, and flowering plants; and two leaf-shaped panels with rock and pendent branch of prunus with bird, and landscape with three geese.
