Information

Vase with baluster body, high neck with flaring mouth, and spreading base. Painted in famille verte enamels with touches of gilding, with panels of various forms on a ground of dotted green, inset with lotus scrolls in colour. On the body, two large panels with rock, flowering chrysanthemums, and butterflies, and rocks and hydrangeas. Between them are two leaf-shaped panels with symbols and two fan-shaped panels with flowering plants and insects. On the neck, a large panel with a carp rising from waves and exhaling a dragon, and panel with vases and symbols; and between them, smaller panels with growing flowers and butterflies. Borders of ruyi heads, key fret, hatched vandyke pattern, and flase gadroons.
