Vase, with baluster body, slightly contracted neck, and spreading mouth and base. Painted in famille verte enamels with touches of gildings. Four upright panels, two containing monsters, the others a phoenix and a pheasant, among rocks and flowering plants. Above and below the panels, a brocade pattern of curled scrolls on green ground strewn with blossoms and foliage; between the panels, dotted green brocade pattern inset with archaic dragons and plum blossoms. On the neck, emblems and lotus flowers on plain white ground; borders of hatched pattern and ju-i heads.
