Vase

Vase, of baluster form with high shoulders and slightly contracted neck, spreading mouth and foot. Painted in famille verte enamels. Four square panels of landscapes, alternating with four medallions of rocks, flowering plants and birds, on coral red ground diapered with green lotus scrolls and large coloured flowers. On neck, two square panels of landscapes on red ground diapered with circles enclosing small green plum blossoms. Borders of coloured key fret, ju-i (ruyi ''as-you-wish'') heads and honeycomb pattern.
