Vase

Cylindrical vase with straight neck and spreading mouth. On the sides, a lotus scroll reserved in a marbled blue ground of great depth broken by panels of fan- and mirror-shapes containing (1) vases and emblems, (2) deer, pine tree, and stork, (3) landscape and figures, (4) sea horses galloping across waves, (5) rock, peony, and bird, (6) basket of flowers. On the shoulder is a peony scroll, white in blue; and on the neck, bands of ju-i heads and fret patterns.
