Vase with cover

Vase with elongated ovoid body, straight neck, and dome-shaped cover. Brilliant powder-blue ground with panels painted in blue with touches of underglaze red. Gilt designs on the powder-blue ground which have worn off in places. On the sides, large shield-shaped panels with vases and emblems, lotus and cranes, landscape and figures, and landscape with pine tree, deer, and flying cranes; between them are small mirror-shaped reserves with flowering plants. Empty double ring under base.
