Vase in the form of a pilgrim bottle on gilt-metal stand

Vase, of pilgrim form, with two handles in the form of flowers and foliage with loose rings attached. Dome-shaped cover with flower knob. Dark mottled green jade, carved with designs in relief. On each side is a large medallion, with a rosette in the centre from which radiate formal floral arabesques, and ju-i (ruyi ''as-you-wish'') heads. Round the design are ranged the Eight Emblems. Borders of key fret and ju-i heads. Richly tooled stand of copper gilt.
