Vase of Khufu

Egyptian alabaster vase inscribed with the Horus name of Khufu (Medjedu), the second king of the Fourth Dynasty, who was buried in the Great Pyramid at Giza. Unfortunately the jar was not evacuated at the outbreak of the Second World War and was lost in a fire that destroyed the museum in May 1941.
