Situla with ovoid body, conical bottom, short neck, everted rim with swinging handle attached by two flat carriers riveted to the rim. Handle is flat in section, ending in tapered up turned ends with bud shaped tips. Centre of handle raised in a small, flat, notched rectangle with a rivet now protruding from it (probably to accommodate a suspension chain). In addition to the two main fragments, there are numerous smaller fragments, all extremely corroded. Said to be 'from Canino’ (the area of Vulci).
