Fragment of a vessel carved from Egyptian alabaster. Part of a kohl pot collar or lid. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Incomplete, scratched, surface dirt. Purchased at Sotheby's, London, 26 June - 6 July 1922 (Rev. William MacGregor collection) Lot 1798: "A small Box of Portions of Tiles, originally lining a chamber in the Step Pyramid at Sakkara, taken to Berlin by Lepsius and presented to Mr MacGregor by the Berlin Museum, engraved in Maspero's "Egyptian Art and Archaeology"; also a quantity of Fragments in Silver, Pottery, Wood Stone and Earthenware, the objects include a large bronze Bucket".
