Votive Box with a Shrew Figure

Solid cast figure of a shrew on top of a small shrine-shaped box that would have held a votive animal mummy. One end of the rectangular container is missing. Fine brown dust was inside - the remains of an animal/bandages (now kept within a plastic bag). Paper label stuck to one side with the ink annotation "44". There is a wooden mount for the object with annotation in white paint: "BRONZE SARCOPHAGUS CONTAINING THE BONES OF A MOUSE".
