Coiled snake on top of a small shrine-shaped box that would have held a votive animal mummy. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Corroded, concretions, fresh corrosion? Wellcome Historical Medical Museum accession no. 120895: MUMMY BOX Bronze encrusted, coiled snake on top. ¾" x 1 ½" x ¾" Egyptian. Purchased for Sir Henry Wellcome by Captain Saint from Pusgal, Cairo. February 1932.
