Votive offering of a dancer

Votive offering from the Sanctuary of Artemis Orthia in Sparta (or possibly another sanctuary site in Lakonia) of a nude male figure facing to his left with his left hand slightly raised, the right hand to the back of the body. Both hands and the position of the legs suggest an element of dance. The figurine has lost its head and there is an excess of lead by the feet possibly from the mould.
