Voyage diary of Ruth Bratt, who worked for Radio Malaya during the fall and had sailed to Singapore in 1941 on SS Nestor, Blue Funnel. The diary covers March and April 1941 and is mostly a description of social life on board, but also has a few references to attacks on the ship and the general war situation. It also refers to the death of Sir Richard Holt, Chairman of Alfred Holt and Co, on 22 March 1941.
