Information

Fragment of a limestone wall with a vertical column of two hieroglyphs in raised relief. At the top of the fragment is part of a hieroglyph representing an eye (Gardiner sign-list D4); below is a hieroglyph representing Egyptian vulture or buzzard (Gardiner sign-list G1 or G4). There is a trace of a blue paint background with red and black paint on the hieroglyphs. This may be from the temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahri.
