Wall Relief Fragment

Limestone wall fragment of the end of three columns of hieroglyphs with painted raised relief inscription on a white background. The central column reads 'inspect ' (verb). The colours are green, yellow, red, black, white. Dating needs to be considered further at some opportunity. Wellcome Historical Medical Museum accession no. 240506. Purchased at Glendining auction house, lot 356, 19 August 1930.
