Weapon; Club

A tewhatewha (long club/fighting staff) with a pointed tip at one end of the shaft and an axe-shaped blade at the other. The blade weight has a straight top. There is a notched line on one side of the shaft, but no other carved decoration. There are traces of red pigment on the shaft and several flaws in the wood. The blade weight is chipped.
