Weasel, His Family and Dog Soaking Up the Heat

Yhap studied at Camberwell School of Art (1959 - 62) and the Slade (1963 - 65). She had her first one woman show at Piccadilly Gallery in 1968. She has showed at many group exhibitions, including the John Moores Painting Prize in 1974, 1982, 1985 and 1987. Based in Hastings, much of Yhap's work has focused on the fishing community of her home. In more recent years, she has also worked in mosaic and calligraphy in addition to easel painting and drawing.
