The White Inn

Davidson was the son of Andrew Davidson and his wife Mary Isabella Williamson. He trained at Edinburgh School of Art and later at the Académie Julian in Paris. He exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy; the Salon Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts from 1905; Royal Society of Painters in Watercolour; Royal Glasgow Institute of Fine Art and Aberdeen Artist's Society. He was a resident in Berwick-on-Tweed about 1903 and then according to the 1911 census was recorded at South Brent, Devonshire.
