William Roscoe's Father

Exhibited at the WAG. "Early English Drawings and Watercolours " 1968 No. 121. An old inscription on the mount stated that it was a portrait of William Roscoe's father also called William, drawn when William Roscoe the younger was 14 years old in about 1767-1768. If true it would show Roscoe's father, who was born in 1714, aged about 53.
