Seventeen parts of a latticework window-grille and two nails. From the palace of Ramesses III, but from later occupation (Late Period or Ptolemaic?).
Petrie notes that 35 fragments went to the BM, with a piece of charred beam; 7 to Boston Museum of Fine Arts and other fragments went to Bristol, Bolton, Geneva, York and the Charterhouse School (Tanis Part I, 1883-4, p. 28).
CONDITION NOTE (1998): Highly corroded, patches of fresh corrosion, flaking surface, crystalline surface.
