Wine ewer

Ewer, one of a pair (to LL 6214), with pear-shaped body, slender neck, and spreading mouth. Scroll handle and long spout attached to the body by a foliage scroll. Painted in brilliant blue; tessellated ground, and leaf-shaped medallions with white foliage scrolls in a blue ground. On the neck, a band of lozenge fret, and stiff leaves. On the covers, a rosette.
