Winter Sunshine, Blakeney

This watercolour shows the coast of Blakeney under winter sunshine at low tide. Blakeney is on the North Norfolk coast. Bone's main subject matter was landscape, as shown here, but he also focused on architectural images, often of construction and demolition sites, conveying the ideas of urban change and industrialisation.
