The Wood Nymph

The artist called this sculpture 'Feronia'. She was a Roman goddess who watched over woods and groves. Lever bought the sculpture from the artist to display in the gallery. He probably thought the meaning of the title would be too obscure for most visitors, so renamed the piece.
