A Wooded Landscape

This work can be dated to the period 1825 - 1830. Norfolk scenes were predominant in Stark's work at that time, and a Norwich framer's label on the reverse of the work suggests that this is one such painting. The generic nature of Stark's woodland landscapes, however, makes precise identification of such subjects impossible.
