Xenopus laevis (Daudin, 1802)

Frog with small, flattened head, eyes are tiny and turned upward. Body flat, forelegs are short and delicate, hind legs long and sturdy. Upperparts brown or greenish-brown with dark streaks. Total length 10-13 cm.
