Description: Rather large snake with fairly well-defined, rounded head. Colour variable but most have characteristic yellow, white or orange collar bordered with black just behind the head. Body usually olive-grey, greenish, olive-brown or grey with various dark blotches and occasional light stripes. Length up to 200 cm, females larger than males.
