Description: Large snake with large, heavy head with relatively small eyes. Body covered with smooth, shiny scales, pattern variable but ground colour usually pale brown or greyish with a series of large reddish-brown blotches along the back surrounding smaller light coloured oval spots along the centre of the back. Length up to 5.6 m.
