A factory floor at British Insulated Cables Ltd, Prescot. Telephone cable manufacture was an important product of the company. British Insulated Cables Ltd later (1945) merged with Callender’s Cable and Construction Co Ltd to become British Insulated Callender’s Cables Ltd.

BICC Ltd is the only company to have its own dedicated client register within the original Stewart Bale documentation, indicating the importance of this customer and the frequency of their orders.
