Meet the Border Force Teams and enjoy rummage demonstrations, spotting the fakes, art activities, live snakes and reptiles, get up close to our CITES collection - something for all the family!

Seized! is the only UK museum revealing the ingenuity of our Border Force in protecting us against some of today’s most organised and dangerous criminals who go to incredible lengths to smuggle drugs, weapons and counterfeit goods.

The day's events will include:

  • At intervals throughout the day: Rummage demonstration on the quayside in front of the museum
  • 11am-4pm Tractor unit outside the museum
  • 11am-4pm Freight team, colonnades
  • 11am-4pm Live snakes in Learning Base B in the basement
  • 11am-4pm National Document Fraud Unit, Seized Gallery, basement
  • 11am-12.30pm and 1-3pm Face painting, ground floor foyer
  • 11am-3pm at intervals Guitar player Marco Riola to play alongside two seized guitars, ground floor foyer
  • 11am-4pm Badge making, ground floor foyer
  • 11am-4pm Counterfeit Detection Team, ground floor foyer
  • 11am-4pm Passengers and baggage concealments, ground floor foyer
  • 11am-4pm Exoteach live snakes, Quayside gallery learning space, ground floor
  • 11am-4pm Stop the Traffik stand and info, Quayside gallery, ground floor
