The sculpture 'Eleanor' was displayed in the Museum of Liverpool's Atrium during winter 2014.

Created by Liverpool-born artist Leonard J Brown in 2013, ‘Eleanor’ was inspired by a chance encounter with an elderly ‘bag lady’ from Hull and the Beatles song, Eleanor Rigby - a tragic story of loneliness and isolation.

The sculpture was constructed using £1 million worth of old bank notes. Donated by the Bank of England, the money highlights the relationship between wealth and loneliness.
