This Roll of Honour lists the names and contains photographs of the men from Bootle who lost their lives during the First World War. The impact of the First World War in Britain was immense, with almost every family being affected by the death or wounding of a relative or friend.

The King’s Regiment hold a unique database of information on many of the soldiers who served in the First World War. The compilation of the database is an ongoing project. You can search a simplified version of the database on the website, or come to the gallery for the complete details.
