Temporary disruption of Liverpool Biennial rooms at Walker Art Gallery

Due to essential maintenance, the galleries hosting Liverpool Biennial 2025: BEDROCK  at Walker Art Gallery will be closed throughout Monday 4 August and Tuesday 5 August 2025.

You can still find Nour Bishouty's intervention ‘Staffage’, 2023 in the 18th-Century European Art gallery, and Petros Moris' ‘Cast of ALONE V (A & B)’, 2024 on the ground floor, just inside the Sculpture Gallery. 

Other rooms throughout Walker Art Gallery will be open as-normal during this time. Please note that the John Moores Painting Prizewinners gallery is currently closed in anticipation of this year's Prize, although you can find some select works in Room 9.
