Titanic and Liverpool self-led worksheets

A perfect complement to a visit to the exhibition Titanic and Liverpool: the untold story at the Maritime Museum. These downloadable worksheets offer pupils the opportunity to explore the themes covered in the exhibition, discuss the issues raised and report their findings to their classmates once back in school.

The exhibition is open to the public Tuesday to Sunday, 10am-6pm. The museum is closed on Mondays, except for bank holidays.

Workshop details

Many people, both young and old, are fascinated by the story of the sinking of the Titanic. A visit to the exhibition Titanic and Liverpool: the untold story is perfect for groups studying this story as part of a history topic or local history study.

Ideally suited to a class size of approximately 30 pupils, the worksheets require children to work in four smaller groups - each based in a different section of the exhibition, finding information and discussing issues raised by the objects that they see. Each group only requires one worksheet, thereby saving on printing costs and paper. Each member of the group can take turns to record findings with the entire class able to share the information they uncovered once back in the school environment.
