Travel, tourism and regeneration tour
Explore how Liverpool’s waterfront has been through a series of transformations to become a thriving and iconic tourist destination.
This tour, which is suitable for ages 14+, support groups to implement Gatsby benchmarks including linking curriculum knowledge to careers and encounters with employees.

Workshop details
This guided tour will highlight the fascinating and diverse history of a world-famous location and will also provide insight into future waterfront transformation projects, that culture and tourism are at the centre of.
Students are encouraged to ask the museum facilitator questions about the wide range of employment opportunities in the sector to support their understanding of linking curriculum learning to careers.
Visiting the museum can also provide insights to improve young people’s cultural awareness and understanding of employment opportunities in cultural venues.
