Here's an update from Education Demonstrator Kristina Zavros on Takeover Day at the Walker:
Children of all ages had fun photographing everything from a dragon, birds in cases, instruments, dressing up costumes, interactive toys and play dough. Families took part in fun interactive songs and a dinosaur story and one child decided to photograph our story mat. The tea set, dinosaur craft activity and interactive musical gramophone seemed to be some of the children’s favourite objects to photograph.
Here’s some of the comments from our young reporters:
“I love coming here for songs and playing with the play dough.” – Matilda
“I took part in writing my name on the magnetic board, drawing with chalk on paper we drew fish and played with the puppets. I like the dragon puppet the most!” – Kian
“She liked drawing dinosaurs.” – Miska’s mum
“I took pictures of the dinosaur book.” – Daisy Erin
“I enjoyed playing with the tea set. Playing with the play dough, I also liked looking at the birds in the cases and pressing the buttons on the big musical gramophone.” - Ben
