Are you an Early Years practitioner or Primary or Secondary teacher? Why not start the next academic year by joining the Education team at the Lady Lever Art Gallery in Port Sunlight on Wednesday 7 September, 4 - 6pm for our Teachers’ view event
Teachers will be able to explore new resources for schools which have been created as part of our
South End galleries redevelopment project which was generously supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund. The galleries have been returned to their original architectural glory, showcasing objects in a style employed by William Hesketh Lever when the gallery first opened in 1922. The new galleries have been designed to encourage visitors of all ages to enjoy Lever's internationally-renowned collections and have hands-on areas for younger visitors.

There will be an opportunity to chat informally about how we can support classroom learning, try some activities and find out how to book a visit to the Gallery. Refreshments will be available.
It was great for children to see artefacts first hand and this session built on learning in class. The role play was a fun and really effective way to support their writing in school and ensure they understood the myth. We would definitely visit the Gallery again. Year 5 teacher
