About this object

Cox was in Wales in the autumn of 1836 making drawings to illustrate Thomas Roscoe's (1791 - 1871) 'Wanderings and Excursions in North Wales and South Wales', published in 1836 and 1837. He made 34 drawings for the publication which were engraved by William Radcliffe (1783 - 1855).
