This small display in Room 13, includes a new commission by Paul Scott, together with a selection of Liverpool ceramics from our historic collections that inspired him.

Paul Scott is based in Cumbria and has an international reputation for printed ceramics. He visited the museum collections of Plymouth, Bristol, Cardiff and Liverpool to create this work, which reflects themes connecting the history of these port cities.

The work is a ceramic collage in four parts and was presented by the Contemporary Art Society in 2014 to Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery, National Museum Wales, Bristol City Museum and Art Gallery and National Museums Liverpool.
