Join us in creating your own masquerade puppet.

Explore traditional Caribbean carnival figures from across the Caribbean. Masquerade dancers were created over 300 years ago on 3-day break enslavers would give to enslaved Africans, later on in transatlantic slavery.

For many enslaved Africans these days were the closest they felt to a sense of freedom. Instead of celebrating Christmas they resisted and celebrate their cultures.

Drop-in, no need to book.
