Join Participation Facilitator, Kate Haselden, to hear about 'The Black Boy' by William L. Windus, a curious portrait which has been on display since the opening of the International Slavery Museum.

Find out about the research project which has revealed more about the artwork's connection to Liverpool’s Black history and the Black presence in nineteenth-century British portraiture, not to mention some intriguing hidden figures in the painting...  

Talks take place at 1:15pm and 2:15pm. 

Both are free and open to the public. No need to book.
