Have you been inspired by the Lady Lever Art Gallery, does it hold a special place in your heart?

If you have special memories or images from your visits, we would love to hear from you.

We need your help to build an archive of memories which will be used to celebrate the galleries history during our centenary year and to create a lasting legacy of what the gallery has meant to visitors. Memories from this special archive will feature in the ‘Inspired by Lady Lever’ exhibition due to open on the 24th June 2022. The exhibition will also feature a timeline of events from the 100 year history of the gallery, which opened in December 1922.

The display will reveal more about Lady Lever, who was a constant support and source of inspiration to her husband Lord Leverhulme, so much so, that he named the gallery after her. For the first time we will be displaying a beautiful court dress worn by Lady Lever when she was presented at Buckingham Palace in 1913, shortly before her death. Please see Inspired by Lady Lever for more information about the exhibition.

If you have memories or images to share with us, or if you would like a peek at what the exhibition will contain, then please come along to this drop in session.
