Meet Gavin Hunter, Honorary Leverhulme archivist and family historian, to discover more about the life of Elizabeth Ellen Hulme, who married William Hesketh Lever and later became Lady Lever.

When Lever built an art gallery to display his art collection he decided to name it the Lady Lever Art Gallery in memory of his wife, who passed away in 1913.

This talk will explore the life of the woman who supported and inspired Lever and the relationship between them.

This is a free ticketed event, tickets for each date are released around 2 weeks in advance.
