The Port Sunlight Orchestra was privileged to have played at the opening ceremony of the Lady Lever Gallery by Princess Beatrice on 16 December 1922. Everyone is welcome to come along and listen to this special concert which will include the music from the orchestra's library as played 100 years ago.

Eric Coates, a composer of light music, is sadly too often overlooked, but today we are giving an airing to his Joyous Youth Suite and High Flight March. Included will also be music by Handel and a horn Concertino by Michael Haydn.
