Uncovering African presence in Merseyside with Laurence Westgaph
No current dates available
Join National Museums Liverpool's historian in residence Laurence Westgaph to learn about the enslaved people who lived in Merseyside during the 18th century.
The records of their lives are fragmentary but what survives in parish records, newspapers and memoirs gives us a glimpse into the African presence in the region during the transatlantic slave trade and beyond.
