Come and see what the poetry world is up to in and around the Wirral.
Local poetry groups will be on hand to talk about what they do along with other group interested in the pursuit and application of poetry.
Ali Harwood will give a talk about their role as Liverpool Literacy Cycle Co-ordinator.
John Curry will tell us about the history of First Thursday, the group that grew from the remnants of Jabberwocky which first met in 1969. He will be talking about the many famous poets he has met, many of whom stayed in his house including Ted Hughes, Tom Gunn, Sir Stephen Spender – the list goes on!
Events will including the premiere of the 2023 video anthology.
No need to book – just drop-in any time between 12-3pm.
