Heritage Open Days are coming to the Old Dock this September. Choose from several sessions and discover one of the most important developments in Britain’s history.

The Heritage Open Day sessions start by the entrance to the Liverpool One Car Park on Thomas Steers Way. On the session visitors are taken back in time as they see a large portion of the Old Dock rising more than 20 feet from the bed of the Pool - the creek that gave Liverpool its name. A modern bridge and walkways give grandstand views.

Please note, we are only able to accommodate one wheelchair user per session - visitors in wheelchairs must be able to self transfer to access the Old Dock.

If you enjoy this session, please consider joining us for a full Old Dock Tour, available to book through our website now.

Or, join us at the Walker Art Gallery for guided tours of our painting collections on Collections in Focus: The Pre-Raphaelites, and Collections in Focus: Renaissance Rediscovered.
