Welcome to the Waterfront
No current dates available
Join us for a day of arts and wellbeing workshops, framed by the Waterfront Transformation Project. The focus will be male mental health, but all allies are welcome.
This will be the second in a series of Welcome to the Waterfront events and will look closely at the Canning Dock redevelopment.
As a site that explores social injustice and challenging histories, we will borrow the International Slavery Museum’s principal of Ubuntu (humanity) to understand how we can better support individuals and grow stronger together in our work at Canning Dock.
We will be welcoming:
- Dramatic Recovery, mental health arts organisation
- Alan Crawford, holistic and decolonial wellbeing practitioner
- Hayli Kincade, vocal coach
There will be refreshments on arrival at 10am, followed by a screening of Dramatic Recovery's Real Talk, a verbatim theatre piece and a Q&A with the actors.
After lunch, there will be a carousel of wellbeing activities, including drama, meditation and singing.
The event will finish at 3pm.
Tickets are free and include refreshments and all activities. Please book your tickets in advance via the link on this page.
