Liverpool-born Frank Hornby was a toy maker extraordinaire, inventing three of the most popular toys of the 20th century - Meccano, Hornby Trains and Dinky Toys.

Where did his ideas come from and how did he market his products so successfully? How did the company fail so badly in the 1970s?

Find out about this and the collections held by the Museum of Liverpool in this talk by curator Sharon Brown.

Tickets for this talk cost £7. A booking link will be available soon on this page.
