International Youth Day celebrations with the Youth Engagement Forum

Join our Youth Engagement Forum members (National Museums Liverpool's 16-24 year old youth forum) to celebrate United Nations International Youth Day.  

The theme for International Youth Day 2024 is 'Transforming Food Systems: Youth Innovation for Human and Planetary Health.' This highlights the crucial role young people play in addressing global issues, particularly in creating sustainable solutions for our planet. 

For this event we will be looking at food sustainability and sharing recipe cards to help you to cook simple and healthy food. We'll be giving out free herbs and vegetable seed to encourage you to grow your own. 

There'll be a selfie station for you to dress up and post Instagrammable photos to share, and lots of creative art and craft activities throughout the day inspired by this year's theme.

This free event is open to all visitors but we particularly encourage young people to come along to meet our Youth Engagement Forum, made up of people aged 16-24.
